Week three for brigits_flame All Stars.  Literally JUST wrote this in about an hour, so it's probably riddled with errors and all that.  No real warnings for this one other than child birth and blood and implied sexual abuse.  This is a continuation from the last couple weeks, and the next to last entry for this series.

Alright, here we go for week two.  Overall, I am MUCH happier with this week's entry.  It's long and it's still setting the stage for the main action ... but I'm pretty glad with how it turned out, and the prompt take is MUCH better.

October is bullying awareness month, something I hadn't realized until after I started writing this piece.  Despite that, I want to dedicate this to anyone who's ever been on the receiving end of a bully.  I've been there and it hurts.  Just know that you are loved and that no matter what you may think, there are others who've been where you are and who know, to some degree, what you're going through.  You are not alone in this, and you WILL get through it.

Alright, I'm pretty certain I know WHO I'm gonna be writing about this month: Boots and Hearts.  I've been wanting to get back to those two for a while now and something about them (probably Hearts) is screaming October is it.  It'll be another serial piece, I think, just to gear up for NaNo.  (Plus, I'm hoping to get another story under my belt for the compilation I wanna put together for these two characters)

And I know I wanna do something Halloween-themed for them, but not overtly so.  Maybe something ghost story related, which would work well with the "under fire" portion of the prompt.  Still working on ways to add in all that jazz, aside from having it be Hearts's latest battle cry ... though that'd be kinda funny.

Anyway, all, that's just what I'm initially thinking at the moment.  What's going on with you guys?  Any initial thoughts and ideas?  Something you want to write but aren't sure how to tie together?  Let's talk it out!

But now it's done with.  I'm back from Germany now and feeling, to be honest, a little out of sorts.  It's probably just the jetlag.  Maybe.

I had an amazing time and we did SO MUCH that it's hard to even think about putting it into words.  It's also left me in a very strange mental state and, possibly, feeling homesick for a place that isn't my home.  Also very confused emotionally.

Hmm...  Maybe this is the start of a midlife crisis.  Yeah.  I think that's it.

Anyway, just letting you all know I'm back now, Germany was beyond fabulous, and I'm a little incoherent on everything else.  Carry on.
